Holy Child Boys' National School received a grant in 2021 to implement initiatives aimed at addressing the digital divide and support our learners at risk of educational disadvantage as a consequence, as part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) a project under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU.
This funding was used to support children with additional and newly identified learning needs that emerged upon their return to school.

- Purchase new iPads to support individual and small-group learning
- Acquire a class set of Chromebooks to enhance digital learning in the classroom
- Upgrade existing projectors to modern interactive whiteboards to support more engaging teaching and learning
- Purchase digital licences for educational software tailored to pupils’ learning needs
- Install classroom visualisers to improve the delivery of lessons and support visual learning strategies
