Pictured above are our 2016 school Gaelic football team. The boys had a very difficult draw for the league stage and unfortunately didn't record a win. However their performances did lead to a shield quarter-final versus Holy Trinity, Donaghmede. The boys put in a fantastic team display and were very unlucky to be defeated on a scoreline of 5-4 to 5-9. The boys did a great job representing our school on each occasion.
We thank the team managers Mr. O'Rourke and Ms. Lynch for giving up their free time to take the football team this year. We also thank parents who provided lifts and gave their support over the last four weeks. We now look forward to hurling and soccer later on in the year.

Well done to all the 5th and 6th class boys who represented our school today in the Clonliffe Harriers cross-country races in Santry Demesne. All of the boys put in a great performance with our 5th class team winning the team event outright. Callum Flanagan was the first team member to cross the line in fifth place followed by Daniil Climov in seventh and Luke Leonard in eleventh place.
We are delighted with their success and our thanks to Mr. Culligan for preparing the team. Congrats boys! |
