What an active time we've had since the start of the school year! We got some lovely new 'active yard' equipment and we've really enjoyed the dance strand as part of PE. The 5th & 6th class boys are loving their PE lessons in DCU and Coach Anto from Whitehall Colmcille is working with classes to help them with their GAA skills.
We were delighted to raise our school's Active Flag as part of 'Fighting Fit February'. Some of our activities for the month included doing laps, and a thrilling football tournament between the classes which was very exciting. Check out our Instagram posts for lots of lovely pictures!

Congratulations to all the boys who represented our school so well in the Cross Country event for schools in Albert College Park.
A number of these boys will now go on the the Clonliffe Harriers Brother Schools Cross Country Final in Trinity Sports Ground on Wednesday 2nd of October. Our 5th & 6th class pupils are currently enjoying a series of fun and exciting PE lessons in DCU!
Fifth and sixth class pupils were delighted to take part in a cycling workshop on Friday run by the Irish centre for cycling as part of Bike Week. Thanks to John McDonald Sports Officer with Dublin City Council Sports & Wellbeing Partnership who arranged it for us.
Boys really enjoyed meeting Olympic swimmer Ellen Walsh and felt inspired and motivated after hearing her speak about her career.
