We are so proud of our hurlers who played in the final in Croke Park on Monday 12th of June! They put in a tremendous performance with each and every team member playing a starring role! Masive congratulations boys! Thanks as always to the parents, family and friends who supported in huge numbers and a special word of thanks to Ms. Drohan and Mr. Culligan who coached the team for success!
We had great success once again in the field events in Santry Stadium with both Dominic Chebac and Callum Flanagan bringing home bronze medals! Representing the school were: Matthew O' Loughlin U11 hurdles; Daniel Barrett U14 hurdles and Dominic Chebac U12's. Luke Traynor did really well in the shot putt event. Daniil Climov and Dylan Farrell both took respectable places after a tremendous effort in their races. In the long distance Callum Flanagan came from 4th to secure the bronze medal. Well done to all and thanks to Mr. Culligan and Ms. Feeney for coaching the boys.
Pictured above are our 2017 soccer team. The boys put in some fantastic performances throughout their campaign but unfortunately their run came to an end when they were beaten by a superior St. Brigid's Killester side. We are very proud of all the boys who represented the school so well in their attitudes and sportsmanship. Thank you to all the parents who gave lifts and supported our team. A big thank you also to Mr. O' Rourke who gave up his own time to organise matches, training and look after the team.
