Well done to all of the boys who took part in the recent 'Boxing in the Community' event in the National Stadium.
Our 5th & 6th Class boys were very lucky to be part of the initiative where they availed of 12 coaching sessions, culminating in the showcase event at the Stadium on Friday 30th of November. Huge thanks to the teachers and parents who gave lifts and supported the boys and to coaches Oisin and Bernard for their time, energy and patience!
We celebrated anti-bullying week with a wide range of activities, including 'Odd Sock Day' on Friday to finish off a very successful week! Cody, 5th Class explains why: "The reason we wore odd socks is to celebrate our differences. We have been learning all week that everybody is unique and that we should celebrate and respect our diversity".
Thank you to Mr. Gaughran who arranged a trip for his and Ms. Corri's 6th Class pupils to Dáil Éireann! They had a lovely guided tour, saw many of our well known politicians and got to hear a debate on Brexit. A very interesting day out!
Congratulations to our Credit Union Art Competition winners, pictured above. The theme was 'The Force of Nature' and there were some fantastic entries this year - a tough decision for the judges!
Ms. Keane's boys in Room 8 enjoyed an exciting Halloween STEM challenge with some spectacularly spooky experiments! Enjoy their slideshow below...
Congratulations to all our Maths Week winners, pictured above. The whole school enjoyed a series of puzzles, challenges and competitions as we celebrated the week.
