We welcome our new 1st Class pupils who have settled in so well in Room 4 with Mr. Culligan and in Room 5 with Ms. McLoughlin.
Ms. Drohan's 3rd Class boys enjoying a cooling ice-cream on a fine summer day! Thanks to our Parents Association who organised the ice-cream day for the whole school!
Pictured above are 2 of our 2nd Class boys who brought in items for our recent 'show and tell'. One boy brought in his Kurta as we were learning about India in Geography and we learned how people wear clothes like this to keep cool in the very hot summer months. If you look closely at our other picture you can see the wonderful depiction of a cat and dog judo match, which was made for the U10 boys' clay modelling competition held in Limerick recently. Well done and thank you boys.
Following their Confirmation earlier this year, our 6th class boys decided to make a donation to charity. They said they chose Temple Street Children's Hospital as they have all attended there or visited someone there over the years. Pictured above are the boys who presented the cheque on behalf of their class along with their teacher, Ms. Feeney. Well done boys!
